Drawing Around the World Week 4

Despite my intense “business” this week (moving our studio at work had me working some extra hours) I actually managed to get some drawing done! Not half an hour a day per se, but I managed to get a few minutes in here and there.

Tell me, how do people work full-time and get stuff done? I have no idea…. you should have seen the state of my apartment this week!

A lot of the drawings I did this week I got from the SAINTS animal rescue Facebook page. SAINTS stands for Senior Animals in Need Today Society, one of my favourite causes. Check out their website and make a donation of you feel like it! They’re located about 1/2 an hour away from me in Mission, B.C. and it’s basically a loving refuge for unwanted animals at the end of their life.

Anyways, here are my drawings of the week. I also did one of my nephew, but I will NOT post any people until I’m better… Nothing is more difficult to draw than faces I think….

Thanks for reminding me about Saints – I sent them some moola last year and haven’t done so yet this year so I’ll send them off a cheque. Your animal drawings definitely reflect the love you have for them – so evocative.
