Drawing Around the World enroute from New York City to Toronto

I was in New York City and Toronto for the last 2 weeks and I managed to squeeze in a little drawing here and there. The mini sketchbook ones were done while on the 14 hour train ride from New York to Toronto. Yes, you read that right. It was supposed to be 12 hours, but delays turned it into a 14 hour extravaganza.

Good thing I love the train, had a sketchbook and had a fully charged iPhone to listen to music and CBC’s “The Debaters” so I was good.

Portrait of Sir Henry.

Henry at rest.

Various small sketches.

A cute dog in Praque.

A hilarious little dog in New York.

A hungry little bird at The Cloisters in Manhattan.

You’re super talented! Yes, sketching is the perfect train activity (as long as it’s not a bumpy ride!)

Thanks Sojourner! It was a little bumpy here and there, so I had to stop, but otherwise the train is a GREAT place for art!
